Soooooo, there's the second costume I wore at the bookfair Leipzig... An own interpretation of Red Ring Hood! Well, I wanted it to be a steampunk outfit, but it slipped more and more to a style I don't even know how you'd name that... But it's still something that's acceptable with the name steampunk.
I love this fairy tale, it's so cute and evil and arrrh, did you ever read the original story of it? Unlike in the well known tale the Brothers Grimm wrote, the little girl dies in the original story, it gets eaten by the wolf too. Originally, the story should warn girls against rapists, the red hood was a symbol to the menses we girls get when we come into puberty... Uuuh the background of fairy tales interested me since EVER.
To the costume, it was sewn very fast and without complications, it wasn't as big as my latest cosplays. And I'll NEVER EVER try singing non-natural cloth again. Never ever.
My lovely wolf (not shown on this picture) was ~EpicFailMonster, the basket is also from her, thanks Wolfie! <3 ~NiklasLiebig was the photographer, we had an awesome shooting with him. thanks to him as well!
